What User likes about Finnegan's:
Stumbled across this place while in Galway for St Patrick's Day and what a treat! Had some authentic Irish food (I'm from the USA, and it is hard to find this kind of food where I am). Had the lamb stew and WOW it was great! Went great with a nice cool glass of Guinness. Be sure to stop by here if you get the chance. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Finnegan's:
I went there with my son around a week ago. The lady that served us was very nice. I ordered seafood chowder and my son went for a steak. He aksed for medium, but received well done. We didnt have time to wait for another one, so we ate it as much as we could and left. I realize the price for it was very reasonable, however, if staff is asking for 'how we want the steak , we should expect it shoulde as ordered. Would... View all feedback.

read moreA cozy and affordable tavern in Galway offers a range of classic Irish dishes. The atmosphere is charming with fast service, although the food quality varies. Some dishes like the ox stew and goujons are good, while others like the striploin steak and shepherd's pie fall short. The Baileys cheesecake lacked flavor. Despite this, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, with 2-course meals offered at a good value. Overall, a recommended spot for those with medium expectations seeking traditional Irish cuisine.
