Caffe Nero - Galway
Caffe Nero
Description
Nestled in the heart of Eyre Square, this charming café boasts some of the best espresso in town alongside a friendly atmosphere. While coffee enthusiasts rave about the quality, especially the vegan chocolate options, the café's vegan food offerings leave room for improvement, limited to a solitary falafel wrap. The inviting interior contrasts with occasional lapses in cleanliness in the outdoor area. Although service can be leisurely, patrons appreciate the cozy vibe and beautiful views. Overall, this spot is a delightful choice for coffee lovers, with hopes for a more diverse vegan menu in the future.

Great coffee! and the love I can have here, because the chocolate that they use is vegan. it had a few times, although 2/3 times the outside area was filled with empty plates and sauces. not often cleaned enough. had the Falafel wrap. quite average, but big for the cost. love the atmosphere and the inner. can be a bit slow as they stand on the switch, while coffee is made and wrap is zuasting. beautiful view of Eyre Square above.
Was my only option on a Sunday morning as most places were closed. very friendly workers and good coffee. I managed to get a delicious falafel package, but that was all that was offered for vegans.
This was my only choice on a Sunday morning since most places were closed. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was good. I was able to get a delicious falafel wrap, but that was the only option for vegans.
I want to share my review in two parts: 1. The espresso here is one of the best in town and 2. The vegetarian options. When it comes to vegan choices, I believe they could offer more variety. As an international coffee chain, they should update their sandwich selection to cater to vegans. Currently, they only have one vegan option, but at least it's available. Other coffee shops of similar caliber do not offer any vegan options at all.
I really enjoy the coffee at this restaurant because it's great and the chocolate they use is vegan. However, I have noticed that the outdoor area is sometimes littered with empty plates and cups and doesn't always get cleaned up promptly. I tried the Falafel wrap, which was decently sized for the price but tasted pretty average. I love the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant, although service can be a bit slow since you have to wait at the counter for your coffee and wrap to be prepared. The view of Eyre Square from the restaurant is beautiful.
