The other one la... read more Had food here last night.standard of food was superb poty cant say same for attitude of the bar man. Not the one with small beard who was fine. The other one last night firstly overcharged for first drink(pint instead of half pint).secondly having asked him about food and received a grunt 1/2 hoir later asked annother staff member and seated and menus within minutes. Finally having explained my wife was a coeliac and substituted gnovchi and calamari (contain gluten)with mash and few Veg we had beautiful meals.however when bill came nearly 10 euros added for the substitutes which he said was unavoidable. We paid and left but whole experience has left sour taste and we could not reccomend for this reason.

He was engaging, funny and at times I bit h... read more My wife and I stopped in for breakfast prior to a trip. The older gentleman behind the bar was absolutely wonderful. He was engaging, funny and at times I bit humorous with stern suggestions that were spot on. The mini breakfast was still filling and the tea here was perfect. The atmosphere here was great for visitors and we felt at home in no time. Before leaving the older gentleman asked what our plans were and offered advice on which route to take on our trip to better see Ireland and what it offers. This advice did not disappoint and ended up being one of our favorite experiences on our trip.
