I ordered the sushi box from Liquid Ginger, and it arrived completely different from my previous experience. This time, it had spicy mayo on it (which is not part of the usual menu) and lacked the eel sauce, fish eggs, and wasabi sauce that it typically includes. The sushi was also poorly rolled and featured a very small piece of fish. To make matters worse, it only had 8 pieces instead of the usual 10. When I explained to the waiter that it was not the roll I ordered, they refused to remake it and insisted I was mistaken, despite having ordered it many times and showing a picture of what it typically looks like. Additionally, both my friend and I ended up with food poisoning. I will not be returning to Liquid Ginger.
The food is excellent and the lunch prices are quite reasonable. The interior is nicely designed, and the servers are very attentive and helpful.
