Music venue rocks, still trying to get moving more than a few days a week. Beer and wine and good atmosphere as well as a patio that faces university avenue. Please support one of our oldest punk rock music venues!
I truly enjoy visiting The Hardback in Gainesville. The Wednesday night variety show is legendary, as described by the master of ceremonies, Tom Miller. He is a remarkable talent, excelling as an actor, writer, and artist. The Reverend Angeldust, known for being a prominent advocate for marijuana laws and legalization in Florida, often performs here. This venue is my favorite spot to unwind and enjoy the entertainment.
Wednesday nights have a variety of free open-mic entertainment plus featured performers, and an excellent and growing selection of beers and wine. Excellent way to unwind after the downtown farmers market!
