Cry Baby’s - Gainesville
Cry Baby’s
Description
Cry Baby’s offers a vibrant atmosphere and a creative drink selection, making it a popular spot for locals. While the food menu is somewhat limited, highlights include the delicious tofu "fish" sandwich and highly-rated burgers. However, the service has been a point of contention, with many diners experiencing long wait times and inattentive staff. Despite these frustrations, the outdoor seating and friendly bartenders often balance the experience. With decent vegan options and a welcoming vibe, it remains a go-to for casual gatherings, especially if you time your visit to avoid peak hours.

I finally get to cash out. He's legit, reliable, and experienced. I invested $500 to earn $5,800... Easier than I thought. This is the perfect spot to enjoy creative, flavorful drinks with top-notch people-watching! Sat al fresco with easy ordering through Toast Tab, drinks were ready quickly and they were delicious. The prices are great too!
One of my to-go places downtown for food and drinks! Nice vibes inside. Bartenders and wait staff are always friendly. I recommend Al Pastor tacos, chicken tenders, and the burgers. The fries are good too! It can get busy on Thursday-Saturday nights. Best to go early evening. I just wish they had some desserts.
Cry Baby?s is a historic bar in the center of downtown. Great food and the most inventive cocktails! An incredibly knowledgeable staff will help you journey through the wonderful flavors. We celebrated our anniversary and can?t wait to return! The picturesare of the Diamond Dog, Mean Mug and a Last Word. Yum!
Pretty pricey for what you get, but it was fresh yummy and our table was clean, so we didn't mind as much. Staff was friendly as well. The alcoholic beverages are tiny and we were served small cups of room temp tap water with our meals, which I foundodd. Lol No ice, just warm-ish water. My drinks were super strong, so at least they don't rip you off at the bar, however theyweren't mixed very well. Maybe they have a new bartender who was unfamiliar with how to mix those particular cocktails.??????????? Idk. Anyway, our food was good and came out fast and the atmosphere was fun. I doubt I'll go back nect time I'm inGainesville only bc of the prices vs what we got, but it's worth at least 1 visit. It was the only restaurant open nearby, so wewent there to grab a late dinner after driving all day.
