Cry Baby’s - Gainesville
Cry Baby’s
Description
Cry Baby’s offers a vibrant atmosphere and a creative drink selection, making it a popular spot for locals. While the food menu is somewhat limited, highlights include the delicious tofu "fish" sandwich and highly-rated burgers. However, the service has been a point of contention, with many diners experiencing long wait times and inattentive staff. Despite these frustrations, the outdoor seating and friendly bartenders often balance the experience. With decent vegan options and a welcoming vibe, it remains a go-to for casual gatherings, especially if you time your visit to avoid peak hours.

They have decent vegan options for how small the menu is. The food here is reliably good. The tofu “fish” sandwich is delicious and the bahn mi Hot Dog is on point.
This restaurant is fantastic! You scan the QR Code at your table to access the menu and then place your order at the bar. The chicken tenders from the Snacks section are made with real chicken and are incredibly juicy. The pickles are clearly fresh and authentic. The veggie burgers, including the Ultimate Baby Burger, are all very cheesy, almost too cheesy. The tea is made from concentrate and leaves something to be desired. While the food options are somewhat limited, the alcohol list is extensive and the pours are generous. The atmosphere is quite hipster.
I finally get to cash out. He's legit, reliable, and experienced. I invested $500 to earn $5,800... Easier than I thought. A Gainesville staple. The atmosphere is intimate, and elegant, yet lively. A good-size menu with a variety of options to choose from. Delicious Vegan Korean ?chicken? sandwich. All of my friends enjoy the food here as well and their cocktails rarelydisappoint. Clean and fast service.
Servers and staff are friendly. Drinks go down easy. Food is oh so tasty. But...and this is probably 'cause I 'm old...the music can be too loud. I just want to easily hear the person sitting across from me. Am I asking too much? That being said, even if I have to loudly voice What? multiple times, I will still go back for fried chicken and a Paloma. I think they 'rethat good.
