Beque Holic - Gainesville
Beque Holic
Description
At Beque Holic, the all-you-can-eat experience entices with a range of offerings, notably the flavorful beef bulgogi. While some dishes like dumplings and crispy pork could be improved, the atmosphere is spacious and conducive for gatherings. However, inconsistent service has drawn criticism, with reports of slow responses and forgotten orders. Issues with meat quality and grill control have also been highlighted. Despite its appeal, including a selection of cocktails, recent changes in menu items and sauces have led to disappointment. Overall, Beque Holic presents a unique dining experience, though repeat visits might come with caveats.

We recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and found that the price per person ranged from $20 to $30. We gave a rating of 5 for the food and service. The atmosphere was also good, receiving a rating of 4. We highly recommend trying dishes such as the Pork Katsu, Spicy Pork, Brisket, and Steak.
My group of 3 went out of town to watch the UK vs UF game and decided to visit this restaurant. I called ahead to check if we needed reservations, but we were seated right away. Our waiter greeted us and explained the menu thoroughly, helping us find the best price options. The food was delicious and we even had leftovers. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Gainesville. As for kid-friendliness, my 5 year old enjoyed having the option to cook his own dinner with parental supervision.
Review: I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had an excellent experience. The price per person falls within the range of $30 to $50, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. I gave the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Creamy Beef Bulgogi, Brisket, Korean Barbecue, Steak, and Miso Soup. There is plenty of parking available with a free parking lot for customers to use. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a satisfying dining experience.
My table flame had to be on maximum. I know grill control when I am cooking at home, and all of the meat would instantly adhere to the cooking surface even after spreading fat onto it. My thick slices of steak were burnt outside and raw inside, just a thing to maybe watch for future patrons. Some people enjoy rendering out the fat (thick pork belly) before they chew it. I think people get caught up in the experience this place provides, It was worth checking out once, will I be back, probably not.
