However, this is the most authentic Japanese sushi restaurant I've ever visited in my life. The experience was absolutely amazing once again. I'm thrilled to have a home in Rockport knowing this gem is close by. I will definitely recommend it and plan to return!

It was definit... read more We planned our trip to Rockport with the main goal of indulging in fresh seafood over the weekend, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations! It was definitely one of the highlights of our culinary adventure, serving up delicious and exquisite dishes. We will absolutely return on our next visit. We stopped by on a Friday only to discover that reservations are a must, so we made sure to book a table for the following evening. When we arrived the next night, our table was ready and waiting for us. One thing to keep in mind is that they do not provide high chairs for babies. Fortunately, we brought a booster seat with us, or it might have been quite challenging. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and found plenty of menu options for our little one to enjoy.

When I saw Takoyak... read more Happiness, Sushi Happiness! On my regular trips to Rockport, I was excited to try this delightful little authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. When I saw Takoyaki on the menu, it took me back to my time in Tokyo, as it's hard to find it in Japanese restaurants in Texas. The delicious octopus balls topped with smoked fish flakes were an absolute treat. I also enjoyed the classic edamame, which was wonderfully spiced and incredibly fresh. I had the Spicy Tuna roll and the California Dream roll, both of which were outstanding, made with fresh rice and expertly prepared by a talented husband-and-wife team. I ordered for pickup this time, but I'm definitely looking forward to returning someday to savor some sashimi and potato croquettes!

However, I can confidently say that this is the most authentic Japanese sushi restaurant I've ever visited. It was an incredible experience once again, and I'm thrilled to have discovered that it's close to my home in Rockport. I will definitely recommend it and plan to return!

We started with edamame, which made for a fantastic appetizer. There’s a wide selection of rolls and sashimi to choose from, making it a perfect spot for a date night. Dress code is relaxed, so feel free to keep it casual.
