I looked at the menu and thought, yuck. Nothing sounded good.. at all. I ended up ordering the prime rib sandwich with bacon jam. Nope, not a typo... bacon jam. It is one of the best things I have ever tasted. ?? My husband.. MrNever Try Anything New, tasted it. Said he was ordering it next time. This is now one of our new favorites, as we are locals.

I ordered an additional piece because my child wanted some and it was $6. Over pricedfor Gorton's like frozen fish disc. The wife's Ruben was flavorless and couldn't believe they charged $16 for that. Don't befooled by other posts.

It was too cold to sit on the deck with my dog, the waitress allowed me to bring him inside so he could join me in the dining room. My waitress was very attentive and kind to my dog and myself. I met some friendly locals, as well as friendly tourists who were from my part of Texas! Had good conversations. My grilled cheese sandwich with blackberry jam was amazing!!! I was going to try the Rubin but I'm so glad I tried the grilled cheese instead! My next trip to Rockport/Fulton, I will be eating at this establishment again because it was delicious! Thank you!
