Contribute FeedbackRanazul, located in Howard County, is a restaurant that has received varying reviews from customers. Some have criticized the poor quality of food during restaurant week, with dry chicken and disappointing dishes. Others have noted the changes in the menu post-pandemic, now focusing mainly on seafood with limited tapas options. However, there are positive experiences where customers had delicious meals, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Some highlights include tasty tapas like the shrimp orzo, excellent service from attentive staff, and a wonderful Sunday brunch with steak and eggs. Despite mixed reviews, Ranazul seems to offer a diverse dining experience worth checking out.
We had last night a group of four in ranazul and had an absolutely fantastic meal! for $35.00 we all have a starter, main course and dessert. the cappuccino and drinks were also delicious! the main reason we wanted to write a review is our server. I don't remember his name, but he was big with longer hair and gave us an incredible service. we had no idea that the restaurant was closed at 20 o'clock and sat on our table until 10 o'clock. he never came to tell us that the restaurant had closed and never felt unwilling. we felt absolutely terrible that we stayed so long and were sincerely apologised, and even then, he made us totally welcome. many thanks for a great meal and for a great service. I will come back!
The service was great. the interior was attractive. the food and cocktails were great. great place for lunch, even better for dinner.
We tried ranazul for the first time last night and had a great experience! that was great! everything we tried was delicious! the 3 curs menu cannot be beaten for the value. I only took a star away because I think that much could be done for the ambiente of the restaurant (a bit like a brighter conference room) but we will be back for eating 100%! happy that we have tried it here.
The menu has changed a lot since the pandemic; I would have given it five stars before. it is now mainly seafood, although there are chickens and bark (but no steak.) they have no more sweet sides or looked at. Oh, excuse her. under sweet tapas there is a list: fried kartoffeln. really? Why this restauraunt thinks that sweet is out of me. they also have a strange idea of tapas that is able to mix and fit small courses. the tapas they have here are really the size of a small or medium meal; not bad in and by themselves. (but it is limited to the amount of tapas you can order, however, couple that with the fact that the majority of the meals come with pre-ordered sides and are really defeating the entire premise of the tapas. However, if they are looking for fish restaurant, this can be a good choice for them.
Had a lovely dinner with my wife here. We both really enjoyed the 3-course special. They do not skimp on the food at all so the quantity (and quality) of the food for the cost seems extremely reasonable. The honey-soy shrimp appetizer was great and I also loved the sopapilla dessert. The sopapillas seemed kind of flat compared to what I expected but they were still delicious! I would highly recommend coming for a special occasion and enjoying the 3-course meal!
