No. I've been saying this more frequently because it feels like a pattern: once you've been to one Mexican restaurant, they've all pretty much felt the same. I was greeted and seated quickly, and my order was taken promptly. However, the salsa was thin and lacked flavor, mostly tasting like plain tomato paste without any of the usual hints of jalapeño, habanero, onion, or cilantro. I ordered the Carne Asada, which arrived quickly, but the rice and beans were only lukewarm. The rice was dry, the guacamole had started to brown, and the meat was tough with quite a bit of gristle. Since I chose this spot based on a hotel recommendation, I think I'll try the Japanese restaurant next time I’m in the area.
