I got married at Old Saco Inn this past November 2022 and I wish I could relive it all over again!! I am from a wedding coordinator myself, from Massachusetts and knew I wanted to get married up North somewhere but wasn't dead set on a location, until I stumbled upon Old Saco Inn. When we first walked into Old Saco Inn, we were blown away!! The chandeliers, the stone work, the farm tables, it was all so perfect. I met the owners John Bruce, as well as the coordinator, Kathy, and all 3 of them were so personable, kind, and extremely accommodating! They took their time and answered my millions of questions and were so patient and responsive. Being able to stay on site Friday-Sunday with our closest friends and bridal party is exactly what we were looking for. Each room had it's own unique charm to it and were so inviting and cozy. The complimentary breakfast in the mornings were such a great touch as well. The day of our wedding, I didn't have to lift a finger, I was so calm, relaxed, and at ease and I have Kathy and her entire staff to thank for that. From setting up, to decorating with all my décor, to checking in on the bridal party, Kathy truly is any bride's dream coordinator. The FOOD! The food is absolutely amazing, we got compliments all night and to this day, we are still getting compliments about how tasty and delicious everything was. It's hard to find a wedding venue that has delicious food, beautiful grounds, stunning reception space, AMAZING owners/coordinator/staff (Tyler the bartender Angela were fantastic as well! and much more, but Old Saco Inn checks off all of those boxes! This was a fantastic place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. It was a bit off the beaten path, and it had air conditioning, which was a blessing since it was quite warm during our visit. From the Inn, we explored Grafton Notch above Bethel, as well as Lake Thompson and Harrisburg. One day, we decided to relax at the Inn, and it had a lovely atmosphere that was perfect for reading. Overall, I’d rate the rooms a 5, the service a 4, and the location a 4.
