This visit was our first. I tried the burnt ends. Most of them were like jurky. I didn't eat much. But the great waiter took my meal off the bill. In spite of that, I would try this place again. I can't say enough about this restaurant! The food is delicious and unique. Highly recommend!
This place is ridiculous they have online ordering that they allow it seems like once a month and then turn off randomly without notice. You can’t call and talk to someone it just goes to voice mail. Go to the location due to them shutting the online ordering off as we were checking out online. They told us that they would ask the cooks and that the chef said he is not doing any more online orders or even try and rectify the problem as they were to busy. I’m sorry but I was a paying customer as well as anyone else in this establishment. This place has a poor attitude to towards its customers. It may be time for new management.
I recently stopped by this restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, the bartender was friendly and provided excellent service to everyone at the bar (even when it started getting busy). He also offered suggestions for other places to visit in the area and was very accommodating when I requested to substitute sides for my meal. They had a great selection of local beers on tap as well. The BBQ was so tasty that I ended up ordering some to-go for lunch another day. The baked beans were a standout dish, not overly thick and heavy, with pieces of pepper that reminded me of my grandma's recipe. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!
The ribs appetizer was exceptional, and the burnt end Mac and cheese were also delicious. It was a fantastic dinner stop on our way back from hiking.
Came in for lunch on Sunday and it was busy! I tried to put my name in with the hostess lady several times but was ignored and then she started helping guests that arrived after us. So we went to sit at the bar where there was open seats. The bartender John (if I’m remembering correctly) gave us great service, was super friendly and promptly got our ToGo order in and served us cocktails while we waited! Our food was fantastic and definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area! Pulled pork platter, fried chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese.
