The Oxford House Inn - Fryeburg

This restaurant in southwestern Maine is a hidden treasure. The staff is welcoming, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming. Whether you're looking for a special evening or just a casual night out, this place offers an unforgettable experience.

Overall, the dining experience was positive, but it seemed to be missing something compared to our past visits. We visit this restaurant every year and plan to return again next year.

It lived up to all of our expections. Really good food, exemplary friendly service and nice ambience. Only downside is that the mountains weren't visible due to the clouds and rain, but can't blame the restaurant for that. Several of us ordered two small plates instead of an entree, which worked out well. Everything came out together as requested.

The quality is excellent and the price is very reasonable considering the level of quality provided.

Our food was wonderful as was the service. The staff was wonderful, I want to appoligize for all of mankind for the loud, full of him self jerk at the large table behind us. He was so loud my wife and I couldn 't talk to each other but now I know that as long as you make 7.5 million every month you should be fine, all about some drug bust on Nantucket, how it takes 10 hours to drive from Milan to the south of France and that his wife is a F Redneck pretty sure the downstairs diners heard that one. Anyway we are local and come a couple times a year and will continue to do so, hopefully that guy left a big tip, because you all deserve one. Thanks
