Dedi's Kitchen - Frostburg
Dedi's Kitchen
Description
Nestled in western Maryland, this clean, casual spot is praised for a standout cheesesteak, tender pit beef and bold, house-made sauces that lift generous, affordable portions and hearty sides. Friendly staff, quick service and flexible takeout/dine-in options make it a local favorite and worthy detour. Criticisms include inconsistent online pricing, occasional bland items or authenticity misses (gyro), and a rare food-safety complaint, so expect great BBQ and sides most visits but watch for variability.

Best bbq in the area! I’ve tried everything on the menu from the fried fish to the pit beef. Best flavor in Frostburg! A true culinary experience. I recommend checking them out next time you’re looking to eat out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
The food here is incredible! I had the smoked chicken while my husband enjoyed the pulled pork, and we truly loved our meals. The staff was friendly, pleasant, and welcoming, adding to our overall experience. We can’t wait to return soon. Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I can't explain how disappointed I am by this experience. We are out of Towner's and saw the raving reviews and promise of BBQ. It's a lie. The menu prices ON THE WEBSITE are significantly higher lower that what they are actually charging and there is zero BBQ. The chicken sandwich was bland, the meat tasted like water and thank God, I got the sauce on the side or I would have eaten the dead fly in my meal. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste of time and money. We tried to support the local business, but this is totally unacceptable.

If you haven't tried this place, you are absolutely missing out on a quality culinary experience. The pit beef was tender, flavorful and well portioned. The house BBQ sauce was essentially not needed, but did complement the protein well. Real mashed potatoes, dense and yet moist cornbread, and baked beans that aren't overpowered by excessive sweetness... each of these paired well with the beef and provided a balanced and delicious meal. We found this place randomly on a drive through the area, but will be willing to drive back specifically to visit again. 5 stars! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
