The Aussie Grind - Frisco
The Aussie Grind
Description
The Aussie Grind is an Australian-inspired brunch spot with bright, charming decor, attentive staff and a menu of standout coffees, fresh juices, banana bread and flavorful brunch plates. Popular and busy on weekends, it’s family- and vegetarian-friendly (with advance notice) and praised for quality ingredients and presentation. Guests note warm hospitality but occasional slow service at peak times, some inconsistent food temperatures, steep prices and an isolated report of a sewer-like odor. Overall, a lively, well-loved brunch destination for those willing to pay a bit more.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Aussie Grind. The staff was not only thoughtful but also incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable even on a hot day by offering water outside, while we were waiting, and providing refreshing cold drinks (had to order those). Their politeness and genuine care for customers truly made a difference. As for the food, we ordered the Avo smash and Bubble and Squeak and Sydney juice. Each dish was bursting with flavor, making every bite a delightful experience. The high quality of ingredients used in their dishes was evident. I highly recommend The Aussie Grind for anyone looking to enjoy a brunch experience.Vegetarian options: vegetarian options available
I heard a lot about this place on Instagram; we went for brunch on Saturday. The ambiance inside is really nice . I got Hot mocha in mug and prawns linguine and my wife got bubble n squeak both very well presented and tasty .Fantastic server.Overall I totally recommend this for brunch or coffee.
The Aussie Grind is incredible! It is so rare when a restaurant actually serves food that matches the quality in the pictures. The fish and chips are delicious, and the coffee is wonderful. Every table was full just an hour before closing, but everyone was met with friendly and prompt service. I recommend this gem of a place to anyone who lives in the area!
First time trying this place and it had a very strong smell of sewage or sulfur. I asked about it and was told they may be cleaning the grease trap but this was still a concern to me and was off putting because we were eating. The staff was great! The food was not that great. My pasta was decent but the pasta was a little tough and not very warm. The French toast was literally toasted bread didn’t seem made with egg and milk it was just dense dry bread with ice cream on top. The coffee was alright but I ordered syrup and cinnamon which accidentally was left out and we ordered juice which was beautiful and tasted fine but the prices were very steep! $9 for juice and $12 for French toast which was 2 pieces of bread and no sides. $56 for 2 people. We were excited to try this place because it’s different and Australian but this visit will not have us coming back.I sent feedback via email and was never replied to.
