the sushi was the best I had for a long time. I'm not big on sushi, but the crazy horse was just delicious. I also have the appetizer special, and that was also to die. the only retreat was the service. the girl with long blonde wavy hair was super. she is friendly, had excellent customer service and takes care of her. all the others on the floor were very lax and have not forgotten to bring our food that was ordered... What User doesn't like about Sake Toro Sushi:
the woman and I ordered the sushi for two special. they were not understated. we waited for an hour to cut and serve raw fish. at the end they served us the generic rolling, but never the raw cuts. I was really disappointed. we even ordered steamed rice that was never served. we went and asked for a prorated ticket. I was really disappointed. I've never seen people move so slowly. it is as if the whole staff was ston... View all feedback.
Eating was ok, definitiw no traditional sushi place hipster oriented. the food took a very long time to be prepared, and further orders also took very long (20 minutes for 2 orders from sushi.) the service was unfortunately very bad. our server ditched us after we asked how they dressed her sushi. fortunately the busboy has served us the rest of the diner (only 3 tables in the insert while we were there) time to promote your busboy! Although this is a good logistical situation, there are other good sushi sites within a 5 minute drive that offer better customer experience.
This is by far our favorite sushi place in DFW, we have been coming here for years and the owners are great people. This is one of my favorite menu items, the tuna tower! You can also order it with salmon as an option.
Spent New Years Eve here on a double date with my bestie! Their Ultimate Vegetarian Roll was seriously delicious! When I called ahead Logan was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, she helped me find vegan items and even checked the kitchen to find out that their tempura doesn?t have milk or eggs in it! She was so sweet and also ended up being our server. 10/10 will absolutely be returning for more great experiences here :
Solid choice for sushi on Frisco square. Rolls are good, sushi is fresh and the staff is very nice. Like many places, they are understaffed, so bring your patience and enjoy the slower pace of a meal.
