Feedback
Mash'D in Frisco elicits a spectrum of reactions, showcasing beautifully presented dishes that often fail to meet flavor expectations. While the atmosphere is charming and the drink selection appealing, service inconsistencies mar the dining experience. Guests noted sluggish service, with some servers lacking familiarity with the menu. However, there are positive highlights, particularly regarding certain dishes like wings and tacos, which have garnered praise for their flavor. Despite the mixed reviews, Mash'D appeals to those seeking a casual dining atmosphere; yet, repeated visits for some may remain questionable.
We used to love Mash’d but it has really gone downhill recently. We went today and after sitting for more than 10 minutes with no waiter, we left. There were waiters around cleaning tables, helping other people that came in after us, but no one ever came to our table and it wasn’t busy. Less than 10 tables seated in the restaurant at the time. So wildly frustrating.
We were seated promptly. We received our menu and waited 10 min. My wife finally went up to the front to explain the situation. Our order was taken. The food was ok but not great. We were not that impressed with the atmosphere. We were never checked on again until we were waiting to pay. We will not be back.
Went on a friday @4:00. Almost all tables empty except for a couple. Staff was courteous and seated us immediately. Drinks: Pure fire they recommended Manhattan misfit Pure fire was spicy and well made but no flame to add smoky flavor! Manhattan was very basic and missing garnish. Lacking luxardo cherries citrus peel. I spoke to the manager Emelie and asked why a 15$ drink was missing garnish and looks like they were out of it! Luxardo cherries are expensive and therein lack off any premium ingredients if included in the menu should be communicated to the customer upfront. Pure fire was ok but Manhattan not worth the price tag. She ultimately apologized and wanted to cover for the drinks but we denied politely since this was a constructive feedback and not doing it for freebies. Food: Wings hot Bulgogi fries refried ,not juicy, dry. I still liked the subtle flavor of bulgogi though. Fries were fantastic and homemade dip was really good Sweet with hint of spice. Hail queso tortilla chips Queso was ok. More veggies than cheese. Chips tasted store bought and not fresh. 5 stars for the staff Emelie she covered for side of fries : and our server Nana. They both were very sweet and nice to talk to. We appreciate them. 2 drinks 3 food We will be back to give this place another try and see if there were any amends.
Great food, Great service and Great cocktails! Our server was so awesome in recommending things to us and he did not mislead us at all. Everything we had was excellent! The crust on the Homemade Pizza was phenomenal and had a great flavor! The Pineapplebomb had bits of fresh fruit which made it very tropical tasting. I would definitely come back again when I am in the area!
First time to Dallas, traveling for work. Found this place because I love moonshine. I will definitely come back for Mash'd. The moonshine selection is impressive. I had the barrel aged old fashioned as well. The food was great, I had the bulgogi tacos. They were amazing. The service was spectacular. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and fast. The kitchen was very quick, too. My food was out within 10 minutes of ordering...keep in mind I was there during off hours on a week night. Still veryimpressed. I would definitely recommend this place if you live in or if you are traveling to Dallas.
