You know this is a fabulous establishment when a server speaks passionately about the restaurant she works in. The employees get to have input on what gets put on the menu. In fact, she proudly told us that the cocktails and drinks at the bar were created by their staff. Told us that Fire and Ice was a story of a few friends who loved to travel all over the world and eat and they brought back recipes from different cultures and places. So you might be surprised, just as we were, that several dishes of different cultures taste very good/authentic (normally a Japanese cook will not cook Indian dishes well, and likewise, but that 's not the case here, as we found out). They opened their doors just as the world was hit with Covid, and they indeed nearly shuttered their doors. But the owners continued to operate and tried not to fire their staff. The staff in turn rallied together to all work together and make the place better. Very admirable and we love the story. We love the food too!! This is our second time here. We had ordered Shrimp and Chilli Bites, Singapore Fish, Honey Walnut Shrimp, The Indian Journey, and the Mediterranean Kebab Platter...and they were all fabulous. Kebab 's hard to get the meat moist and soft while having the grilled flavor..but we loved all of our kebabs. So much meat, we couldn 't finish it. Amazing presentation as well! Please come and experience and support this wonderful establishment!
This may be a new restaurant in town but they have the flavors on LOCK. This was my first time getting Mediterranean kebabs (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) with that SAUCE. *chefs kiss* The rice was different for me in a great way. I always ask for extra green onions chicken and shrimp. This did NOT DISAPPOINT. And don’t let me forget about that mocktail! The tropical berry punch is true BLISS. Y’all gotta try this place!
Well we were there to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. Though it was high time during COVID, but they make sure to make us comfortable in the restaurant. As soon as we allotted the seat, the server sanitized our seat and gives us disposable menu. Now, lets talk about the food. We have ordered few dishes from menu. Kabob platter, couple of cocktails. Kabob platter I would was okay, though we liked the fish but chicken was little disaster. It doesn't taste good and also the coleslaw they gave with kabob was stale. We informed the server and he gave us the complimentary salad in place of that. So that’s one star. Chef specific come to our seat to ask about our food and interacted with us for a while, that was kind enough. It's a good place to hang out with your friends and have couple of beers with chicken wings.
Unique menu and amazing staff! Kijan was our waitress and did a wonderful job! Very attentive and the food and drinks were delicious!
I so badly wanted to like this place. Their menu is very disjointed and has many ethnicities of food on it. They need to make a decision about what kind of food they want to serve. My wife ordered this experimental fish soup they were trying. The smell of it was so foul that I literally had to leave the restaurant until it was removed. By the time my food came I still felt so grossed out by the smell of that nasty soup that I had lost my appetite to the point where I couldn't even eat what I ordered. I left hungry. Wednesday dinner date night out ruined. Yep! Still had to pay for my food. That's OK. Unless this restaurant solves it's identity crisis, it won't be a factor. They won't be there in three months.
