Nestled in a cozy locale, Eggsellent Cafe has emerged as a beloved breakfast destination for locals. Patrons rave about the exceptional service, with staff like Eli enhancing the experience through promptness and warmth. Menu highlights include the delectable biscuit and gravy omelet, a standout favorite, along with hearty options like the Iron Man Scrambler and various omelets. While some dishes, like the thick pancakes, may prompt personal tweaks—like adding veggies for extra flavor—the overall dining experience remains consistently enjoyable. With its accommodating staff and commitment to dietary needs, Eggsellent Cafe is undeniably worth returning to for breakfast enthusiasts.

Another Sunday, Mass natural, then a post-mass breakfast leaving. Today's choice? Eggsellent Cafe. The good: four guests for breakfast, a cowboy omelet, a Meat Lover's skill, a Santa Fe skill and an Eggsellent skill. Everyone enjoyed his choice. Eli was pleasant, helpful and prompt with check in, refills, the check, and to-go boxes. The bad thing: nothing, really. Shout-outs: Eli, of course. The homemade bottle of hot sauce was pleasantly spicy and delicious. All substitutions were properly treated and we could not feel like we were difficult. Minor Quibble: The Eggsellent skill had to have regular sausage instead of the chicken apple sausage. The bride enjoyed her skill independently, but she would have liked to try as described in the menu. The lower line: my main criterion for a restaurant is always, would I go back? And for Eggsellent Cafe, the verdict is a lot, yes, yes, I would. The problem here is that there are new ones in the areas of Aubrey, Prosper, Little Elm, Frisco and Denton, there are so many places that we were not, it is difficult to go back somewhere where we were. Regardless, Eggsellent Cafe was pretty good, and a return trip will finally take place.

Nice place and good service. First visit and not bad. The food came fast and no problems. The total cost was also good.

Great place to grab breakfast. I suggest the smoked salmon eggs benedict! Friendly staff and wonderful service!

The biscuit and gravy omelet is a must-try; it's perfect in every way. My wife and I discovered this place a few years ago, and it has become our favorite spot for our weekly breakfast date. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent food and outstanding service.

Another Sunday means Mass, followed by a post-Mass breakfast outing. Today, we chose Eggsellent Cafe. The positives: We had four guests for breakfast, and our orders included a Cowboy omelet, a Meat Lover's skillet, a Santa Fe skillet, and an Eggsellent skillet. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server, Eli, was friendly, attentive, and quick with refills, the bill, and to-go boxes. The negatives: Honestly, there wasn't much to complain about. A special shout-out to Eli! The house-made hot sauce was pleasantly spicy and delicious. All our substitutions were handled smoothly, and we never felt like we were being a hassle. A small note: the Eggsellent skillet had regular sausage instead of the chicken apple sausage that was supposed to be served. My wife still enjoyed her dish, but she would have liked to try it as it was originally described on the menu. The bottom line? My main criterion for a restaurant is always, "Would I return?" And for Eggsellent Cafe, the answer is a resounding yes! The challenge for us, however, is that as newcomers to the Aubrey, Prosper, Little Elm, Frisco, and Denton areas, there are so many places we haven't explored yet, making it tough to revisit familiar spots. Nevertheless, Eggsellent Cafe was quite good, and I’m sure we’ll make a return trip eventually.
