I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Coming from New York with an Italian background, I was eager for a taste of home. The food was great, though on the pricey side. Unfortunately, it took 30 minutes for my partner to receive his meal. The service, however, left much to be desired; our waiter seemed irritated by our presence. If they can improve on these aspects, they have the potential to be very successful since the food is genuinely authentic.
The menu and the chef lived up to all the positive reviews I've heard—truly excellent. The service was very good, albeit a bit slow, but I understand they were busy. I really appreciate the passion and culture that comes from this family-run business. The decor could use some updates, as the restaurant has a lot of potential. Dimmer lighting would be a great first step. We will definitely be returning.
The food was outstanding. We tried a salad, pasta and pizza. All were excellent and we would definitely go back for the food. The atmosphere is lacking. I don't remember any music and the bartender was not friendly or engaging. We were the only people sitting at the bar and were very friendly towards him but not even a smile. Seemed annoyed with us? Loved the food though. Will return.
Nice eating and service in a casual culinary experience. delicious Italian cuisine from north beach, san francisco transported!
The food was wonderful and beautifully prepared. It’s a lovely restaurant with a beautiful vibe, with owners and staff who take pride in welcoming you. If you didn’t know it, you wouldn’t guess that you were in a shopping center in Frisco, Texas. We are fortunate that they decided to settle here. I’m a vegetarian, and there were plenty of great options for me, along with lots of choices for my husband, who occasionally eats meat. I had the mushroom ravioli and he had lasagna, and both were fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit!
