I recently found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. They serve the best Walnut Shrimp I've ever had! Unlike many places that over-bread their shrimp, leaving you with only a small amount of actual shrimp, Aiya offers plenty of shrimp along with broccoli. It's both healthy and delicious! The customer service is outstanding as well. I'll definitely be coming back frequently! View all feedback.
What Marc Margiotta doesn't like about Aiya:
This restaurant is incredibly dirty! There were dead bugs scattered across the dining room floor, and live bugs moving around as well. When I arrived to pick up my carryout order, the front door was propped open with a hose, and there was no one around. After about five minutes, a guy showed up and mentioned he had to make a delivery before he could start working on my order. Unfortunately, one of my family members g... View all feedback.
Been coming here for a few years and will continue to do so. The food is great and a decent price. The staff is awesome and fast!
Very very good! Tried the broken chili with chicken and general tso chicken. Entrees came with choice of rices, choice of egg rolls or chicken wing, and choice of soups. Fed 3 adults with drinks for $28. We will be back, often!
Yeah, this is really bad. Cold and old rice, Flavorless chicken, Overcooked Potstickers. I know it is cheap food, but a little more attention in the kitchen goes a long ways. As of now, It's lazy at best.
The food was good and the ambiance was just right. It was quiet and easy going. Our server was a pretty cool guy. He was attentive and ensured all went well with our visit. I had the jade chicken with a side of fried rice and it was delicious. Don'tpass this place up. It's real good.
Before I could finish my soup, my entrée arrived, and it looked fantastic—piping hot with plenty of sauce. It was excellent! The rice was perfect, the chicken was tender without being fatty, and the sauce was wonderful. Overall, I was very impressed and confused by the other reviews. I’ll definitely give this place another chance to see if it can surprise me. Update 12/18/2019: I returned for a second visit to see if my first experience was just a fluke and to evaluate the complaints from some unhappy customers. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and, once again, received the same delicious egg drop soup (I can’t stand the slimy, instant soup you find at some places). The crunchy wonton bits were a nice touch as well. The Kung Pao chicken was very good but different from what I expected. I’m used to a sticky sauce with semi-deep-fried chicken, but this dish was a fresh stir-fry with tender dark meat, crisp vegetables, and a light spicy sauce. While I haven’t had 'authentic' Kung Pao chicken, I can imagine this is what it’s like! I’m definitely planning to come back for another try.
