What Frederique Harvey doesn't like about Jac and the Bean:
So excited to finally come here to try the French toast, or anything from the amazing sounding menu. Alas their kitchen was closed at 1.30! Didn't fancy anything cake like so ordered a turmeric latte, which they'd run out of! Not going well... However kids were happy with their banana smoothies and non-kid happy with lemon slice. As I work in Freo, I've tried most coffee shops. Jack and the Bean has to be the best. Awesome coffee, food, service, interesting artwork to look at while you wait
Always been passing by this coffee shop (as our unit is only 2 minutes away) and was fairly impressed by the setting of this shop. Outdoor seating, AUD$3.00 for an 8oz coffee (all day erryday), and warm Customer Service made for a remarkable Sunday. Wooden decor inside and outside of the shop, and the chilled music added to the cosy atmosphere. We will be visiting this quaint little shop more often and would highly recommend this shop to anyone else in the area.
