1st experience here was absolutely amazing, we came for the Q for the fam they were sadly out of ribs however they were amazing and gave us plenty of extra of the other things that came with it. I did not find a single the wrong with anything we got everything we ate was absolutely delicious I 've gone to a few other BBQ joints in the past couple months where things were a little lack luster well Bucks Naked BBQ blows the competition out of the water!
My experience here was great. Server was super friendly and food came out fast and tasty. We order the Q FOR TWO (Pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked sausage, pit chicken a 1⁄2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs. Served with 4 sides or 2 Jacked up sides) for $35. Great option to try a little bit of everything. 3 people eat (one not so hungry) and we still took home some leftovers. Also got the sweet ice tea and it wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect for me.
We got right in, informed kitchen closed in 15 minutes so ordered quickly. Didn 't know they closed at 8. The service was good. But the food came out lukewarm to cold. We didn 't complain at the time because with 3 people at the table in the restaurant business and 2 in retail we knew we had unknowingly put ourselves in the position of being one of 'those ' people.
The service was fast and friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality for New England. The brisket was excellent, with a great bark and remarkably tender texture. The pulled pork was a bit dry, which seems to be the norm everywhere, but a generous amount of BBQ sauce improved it significantly. The chicken didn't make much of an impression. However, the sausage was quite delicious. Unfortunately, both the potato salad and cole slaw lacked flavor. The beans were decent, and the mac and cheese had a unique twist—possibly due to a lot of cream—but it was actually quite good.
Bucks is amazing! We started with the burnt ends and chicken wings. The burnt ends were delightful, especially with the dipping sauce. We sampled the Thai chili and blueberry BBQ wings, and they were outstanding—some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted. For our main course, we ordered the chicken burger, trying both the grilled and fried chicken sandwiches, and they were both fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly without being intrusive. I’m thoroughly impressed with our first visit to Buck's, and we definitely plan to return.
