Steven, the head brewer,... read more A few weeks ago, while traveling from Chicago to Iowa to visit family, I stopped at this brewery in Freeport just before closing time. Steven, the head brewer, graciously allowed me in before the last call. I really enjoyed the “No Promises” ale. Nicole and the rest of the staff were also warm and welcoming. The brewery has a laid-back atmosphere, a friendly vibe, and excellent beer. I'm excited to visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you!

I tried the red, which is on par with some of the best I've ever had, while my wife enjoyed the lager, which was also quite good. Our adventurous friends opted for a pineapple jalapeño beer, and I had a sip— it was all pineapple at first, followed by a nice kick of heat. I really loved the patio, especially with hops climbing up a nearby structure.
