Cold River Vodka - Freeport

As a bartender I just want to state that the blueberry vodka is phenomenal!! It makes the whole bar smell like there's some fresh blueberry muffins baking. On some rocks with some muddled Maine blueberries, absolutely amazing. Smooth and tasty

I had an absolutely wonderful time! The interior is of a rustic theme, yet kept classy and clean. The lady who hosted me was so sweet and kind to me, and very knowledgeable about what she was serving and the process behind it. Some of the smoothest vodka I've ever had, hands down. Amazing cocktails to with fun variety, which really emphasize and show how good the vodka really is. Some cocktails I've seen and had before, yet the best I've ever had came from here. Its their vodka and gin. Its just that good!I would highly recommend a visit. A wonderful distillery, a real hidden gem.

Legit...Dont sleep on the gin either..Got to figure out how to get more to Arizona...

I didn't take the tour just went to the tasting room and had a cocktail made with their Reserve vodka, mulled blueberries and lemon, and ginger beer. It went down real smooth.

The distillery process was short and ok ....nothing special. Took about 15 minutes with one of the master distillers. But the tastings and informational sharing time with Diane upstairs from the distillery was facinating. She was very informative about the process and explained how gin actually comes from vodka with the addition of juniper and several other plants. Definitely could taste the junper in the gin. Same for the blueberry in the vodka! We were there about an hour and it was well worth the stop.
