The food is very good and the service is always friendly and quite competent. With this visit we were seated in the back room. There was a large party and the surfaces are hard so the noise level was louder than usual. Otherwise, it was a wonderful visit.

We started with the pecan crusted goat cheese fritters which are our favorite. They are perfectly cooked, the cheese is delicious and the compote perfectly balances the flavor. The rockfish special exceeded my expectations. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly, the soba noodles and stir fried vegetables were an excellent accompaniment. The pork chop with scalloped potatoes and green beans is my husbands go to dish. A generous size pork chop cooked perfectly. Chad is a friendly, personable, efficient and knowledgeable server. We enjoy dining at Monocacy Crossing and highly recommend it!
