We have never faced issues with Open Table before, so this incident was particularly disappointing. As a result, we will continue to use Open Table in the future but will not be returning to Matsutake.

The hostess was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We were seated quickly and promptly (Thursday evening). The teppanyaki chef wasexceptional. He engaged with my whole family and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. The food was prepared perfectlyand tasted amazing. Their prices are fair and standard...$25-$35. I will note, their child portions are basically the same asan adult portion. So you might want to order one and have them split it. Overall, Matsutake did not disappoint. A must if youwant to treat the family to something fun and special.

The chef and staff ensured we were always taken care of and had a fun time out. At a time when economy is crushing restaurants and quality staffingis difficult, this team managed to go above and beyond. In addition to the service, the quality and quantity of food stood abovethe rest while at similar price points across the board. The attention to detail and lack of cutting corners made this birthdaya special one for my family. We'll be back.
