We enjoyed a quiet late lunch at Sunset on a Friday afternoon. The service was great! The food was good. It's a simple menu with fresh specials. Unfortunately we were too late in the afternoon to get their fresh berry pies. Make sure to bring cash or an ATMcard.

Our family visited here twice ! It is friendly, comfortable and dependable food, prepared in a simple fashion. I had the cold plate and loved everything on it, including the delicious cole slaw! Based on the number of people there each time we go, it isthe place to be in Franklin!

This charming little restaurant is located in a neighborhood outside of town. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering options like a hearty meat and two sides or a simple hamburger. This was my second visit, and the food was once again impressive. On this Tuesday night, I noticed that everyone around me had ordered the turkey with dressing and two sides, and it looked like a delicious meal. If you’re in the mood for some good, solid home-cooked food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just a heads up, it’s cash only, but I believe there’s an ATM available on-site.

This restaurant has a charming Southern hometown vibe. I ordered the Thursday lunch special, which was just over $8, and it was fantastic. My meal included meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and turnip greens as sides. I loved how the mashed potatoes and gravy complemented each bite of the meatloaf—it was truly delicious. The sweet tea was refreshing and not overly sweetened. For dessert, I had warm apple pie paired with vanilla ice cream, which was delightful. I honestly have no complaints about this place. They don’t accept credit cards, but there is an ATM on-site, and they do accept personal checks with ID, although that might be for locals only. Additionally, the service was exceptional and incredibly friendly.
