Amazing food paired with the best customer service in the United States. The staff is fantastic, and their cheese curds are the best I've ever tasted—sorry, Culver’s! Even though I'm not a fan of root beer, theirs was delightful. They expressed their gratitude for our visit at least ten times! I'd travel for days just to come back here!
We have had weekend breakfasts at the A&W for decades after the summer visitors leave. We stopped for breakfast this morning, and I ordered an omelet and my wife ordered the large breakfast. In this crazy world, breakfast was $30 without a drink or tip. The absolute shock was the toast. One tiny slice of toasted bread with breakfast. The point is that it would have taken 2 extra slices of cheap bread to prevent this negative review. I think that would be a worthwhile investment.
Consistently a fantastic spot. I still reminisce about the BBQ sandwich from years ago, but the current menu is excellent!
Sign says they are open until 9 Fridays and Saturdays. Three cars pull in and wait. Staff can be seen cleaning inside. Kindly update your sign with correct hours. We left with empty stomachs.
