Cortona’s Italian Cuisine Wine

We’ve visited many Italian restaurants throughout Indiana, and this was the first time we left feeling unimpressed with the food. We decided to give it two chances, thinking it might have just been an off night, but we experienced the same disappointing results both times. Given the prices, the value simply isn’t there. The flavors of the dishes we tried just didn’t hit the mark. Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Dinner.

A long-time friend from out of town and I arrived at Cortona on a Friday evening without a reservation. The owner was fantastic and managed to find us a table within just 15 minutes, despite the restaurant being fully booked. We were seated in Shay’s section, and she was absolutely delightful! She was personable, funny, professional, and prompt—everything you could hope for in excellent dining service. The food complemented the experience perfectly, making it an overall wonderful evening. I will definitely return! As for parking, it's charming and fits the Main Street ambiance.

I recently visited for a quick dinner, and the food was fantastic. We started with the meatball appetizer, which was outstanding, followed by a delicious beet salad and shared a plate of spaghetti. The owner took a moment to come over and chat with us, which added a really nice personal touch. It's a perfect spot for a date night. Overall, I rate the food: 5, service: 5, and atmosphere: 5.

We frequently dine at Cortona's because we appreciate their authentic Italian cuisine in a charming and inviting atmosphere. On Friday, September 22nd, we enjoyed not only an incredible dinner but also exceptional service that went above and beyond our expectations. Upon our arrival, I was using a walker and my husband had a crutch, and the staff immediately greeted us and helped us get seated comfortably. Our dinner was delicious, and as we were leaving, not only did the staff assist us again, but the hostess even followed us to our car, carrying our leftovers to lighten our load. We are truly grateful, and I am confident that everyone will receive the same level of care!

The lasagna tasted like reheated Chefboyardee. My dish was supposed to be cream sauce spaghetti. It was under cooked and white water. Will not be going back. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
