We had a significant delay on our food being delivered and were provided a free appetizer to make up for it. We enjoyed our food but would like the chef to note that there is entirely too much black pepper on every savory dish and in everything, bacon and sausage etc. It would be better to allow the diners to add this once it reaches the table or offer it tableside like establishments do for Caesar salads etc. We will be back but will need to note this change when ordering here. Overall this place provides a great brunch spot in our area for its guests. We are grateful and will be back occasionally. Also, highly recommend this place offer cold brew to allow the brunch crowd to enjoy a very common beverage with brunch that would entice the brunch crowd to visit this place more often in our opinion. Definitely effects where I am going for brunch. Even better, a list of flavored lattes! This would make Próximo one of my top favorite brunch places in the area.

We loved the mango/pineapple Sangria and had the opportunity to taste the next flavor that's coming out. I had shrimp and grits and it was wonderful with lots of big shrimp! I had a steak bowl that was absolutely fantastic. My companion enjoyed a salmon dish and tried six different mimosas. If you're ordering just one, definitely go for the Almond! The atmosphere and service were both excellent. I'm willing to bet I'll never give a 5-star rating again, but based on this brunch, I can only imagine they excel at dinner too.

However, Proximo not only accommodated our dietary restrictions but did so exceptionally well! Usually, servers are familiar with their menu but may not know the specific ingredients that could trigger allergies. That was not the case here! Our server was knowledgeable about the types of oils used and which dishes contained soy, sugar, gluten, and more. The staff was very well trained, and the talented chef in this scratch kitchen knew exactly how to prepare our meals safely. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for both lunch and dinner on the same day. The biscuits and gravy made for a delightful lunch, while the pork chop dinner was outstanding! And the Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious!

As a Mexican, I have a deep appreciation for Mexican flavors, and I loved that each dish, while Latin-inspired, has its own unique and delicious twist. The crab chilaquiles and tortilla soup were both delightful, and the Rib-Eye was juicy and packed with flavor. To top it all off, the arroz con leche was incredible!

After dining here several times, including a delightful brunch today, I can confidently say it's now at the top of my breakfast list. Without a doubt, this is my favorite restaurant of all time. I've read hundreds of reviews on Google, and after ten years of dining out, this place stands out as the best. The staff is incredible, the chef is exceptionally talented, and the management genuinely cares. Everything is made from scratch, and you can really taste the difference. I plan to eat here regularly. Bonus Tip: The smoked old fashioned is the best I've ever had in my life. The drinks are crafted with various bitters, and I'm pretty sure the syrups are made by the bartender themselves.

I have eaten and done hundreds of reviews on Google and this one after ten years of reviews is the best. The staff is absolutely amazing, the chef is freaking ridiculously good and the management cares. The best part is everything is made from scratch and you can tell. As more people arrived to find the restaurant, the noise level raised a small but, making subsequent conversation a but more difficult. The noise level would not dissuade me from returning for another visit.
