We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The environment was clean, and the staff were friendly. They even surprised my husband with a Japanese ice cream dish for his birthday, which he was thrilled to try. While it wasn't quite to our taste, we appreciated the gesture and effort they put into it. View all feedback.
Lovely ambiance. Great service. The best pad thai in the area. Everything about the pad thai was perfect! The egg rolls were crispy and hot. I loved it so much. I like how they are cut in half.
Absolutely horrible. Avoid. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
Gnats flying all over after we got our drinks. Food was okay, no real bar, cocktails limited. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
Overpriced tasteless food with rude workers. Please don't eat here. Ambiance is catered towards Asians. Will not be back. Very prejudice.
Starting with the positives, the service was generally quite quick. Our lettuce wraps arrived within about five minutes of ordering, and our main courses came while we were still finishing the appetizers. However, we did need to flag down our server at one point because she hadn’t checked on us in a while; my husband needed more rice, and we both wanted drinks. On the downside, the food was rather bland overall. The chicken in the lettuce wraps lacked flavor and they were filled with an overwhelming amount of celery. All the hoisin sauce ended up at the bottom of the wrap, which struck me as unusual; I think it would have been better served on top. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai, and similarly, it was unremarkable. I’ve had much better pad Thai for half the price. The prices here are quite high for what you receive. While the portions are generous, the taste leaves a lot to be desired. We also ordered drinks; we each had a scorpion cocktail, which were overly acidic and too strong. It felt like I was drinking straight rum mixed with lime juice. Another issue was the restaurant’s layout. While the atmosphere is beautiful, I wasn't fond of our seating arrangement. We were placed at a small two-person table—one side was a booth and the other a chair—and the table was extremely close to those next to us. We were situated in the middle, so I had to squeeze past the adjacent table to get into the booth, and I’m not a large person! It felt like we were dining in conjunction with the tables beside us due to how cramped it was. Even though I had a reservation, it felt like we were seated at a table meant for walk-ins that they just needed to fill. Overall, I would recommend exploring other dining options at the MGM before considering a return to Ginger.
