I've always wanted to go to a Wolfgang's Steak House and I'm sure glad I did. From the moment my wife and I walked in until we left, we were greeted with friendly smiles and treated as first class. Everything was above and beyond. We did the Tomahawk Steak for 2 and it was cooked to perfection. We also had a side order of mash potato's and grilled onions. It was definitely worth the price. What User doesn't like about Wolfgang's Steakhouse Waikiki:
The food was underwhelming. The service was great, front desk hostesses are a little disorganized but as young as some of them are, understandable. The fries were soggy and clearly cooked multiple times- you can only do that a few times. The kebab was raw, burger was ok. There are way better restaurants in Waikiki. I would suggest you go elsewhere, for the price you pay even at happy hour. View all feedback.

T-bone steakOnion ringsGang SaladBeer4 Glass of wine2My family of 4 went with a focus on meat.I ordered the largest steak, about 5 servings. It was amazingly big and delicious. On the other hand, I found it painful to eat onion rings, so I took them out.I think the price for the meat was $480. .Good value for the money! If you're not good at it, you'll be in trouble. This time too, I was greedy and ordered.Later, the rate withdrawal will be over 80,000 yen.Only Wolf is expensive.Thank you for the meal.
The service was great, waiters and hostesses were polite, attentive, and genuinely great. Thats about the only great part. It was so cold inside that I had to go back to our hotel and get my wife a sweater. One guest had the restaurant bring her a tablecloth to put around her shoulders because it was cold. My wife and I have been to many high end steakhouses and this had the most bland and tasteless steak we’ve had. We both order Rib-eyes cooked medium. They were cooked well, just had no flavor. I took one bite and sent it back. When I asked about flavor, the waitress said they don’t add any seasoning they cook it and let the meat stand on its own. So we won’t be going again.

Wolfgang's Steak House will be a place we will seek out next time we travel. On a side note, the steak for 2 could've fed a family of 3 or 4.
Lucky for us Grant Hamura was on the scene to alleviate a seating problem we had initially. We ended up with a wonderful window seat rather than seating in a back room next to a large party and a table with children. Everything was excellent. The steaks, sides, service, timing. So sorry I can't remember our waiters name, but he did an excellent job. Will return.
