First off, there times have changed when they were open. Google maps show they open at 11a. When you call, you find out they open at 4p. They had no indoor dining, but you can eat outside in the back. When you order, it will be from the front door. You are not allowed in the store. What Tyler Trent doesn't like about Sophie's Gourmet Hawaiian Pizzeria:
Got the Seoul Mate and as you can see from the picture, it doesn’t have nearly as much meat as advertised in the photo on their menu. I bought this pizza for the bulgogi but basically got a cheese pizza. Not worth the money… View all feedback.
Sadly, Sophie’s has closed down. Went to order take out on Sept 21, after checking on revised opening times on the website and answer phone message. Found a sign in their window saying they had decided to close down. Sounds quite sudden, especially as they haven’t (yet) updated their online/phone messaging. Many choices of dough, many choices of cheeses and toppings. you can see and pick the ingredients . everything baked to your order. go every month. take out too. or eat in.
Food was great! We ordered the create our own pizza with five toppings ~bacon, meatball, Italian sausage, pepperoni and ham. The crust was perfect no soggy pizza and cheese was on point, no oily pizza. Also ordered a salad with ham, walnuts and dried cranberries with a side of ranch , it was so good.
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and fresh everything was. Everything was top notch.
We stumbled upon this litter Pizza shop by the Marina. All of us wanted something quick and it had to be pizza. What a great surprise! We loved the cheese pizza but there were also wonderful specialty pies that were amazing. Hours were a bit strange, but worth the work around. YUMMY
