We went for dinner. They have Really good food and great service. But, i do think it's more of a sports bar than anything else. I wouldn't take kids there or a first date but maybe the 3rd or 4th date. View all feedback.
What Sangkoug Lee doesn't like about Nico's Pier 38:
This is a popular restaurant with an American atmosphere located on the dockside.I went during lunch time and saw a lot of dock workers and soldiers nearby. That's why the food is cheap. There will be a live Tongquita performance while you eat.Enjoy the American atmosphere rather than the food. Great atmosphere for an industrial vibe seafood restaurant with live music. The food was fantastic and the service was good.
A nice laid back place with good food at a good price and live music. I ordered the snow crab legs with Cajun butter that was their special $28. Bomb.
The poke bowl was so fresh. My partner had the catch of the day, panko crusted tuna. It was ok. The sauce was too much. Maybe get it on the side. Brown rice with the poke was delish. $20 for a generous portion of poke. Worth it!Kind of like a food court

It was so nice to get away from the crowds of Waikiki. We sat by the window and could see the fishing boats and barges, it was really beautiful. The service was amazing, there was a relaxed pace to everything. Our server Eliot was helpful and knowledgeable. The food was creative and delicious, lobster bisque was different than I expected but very good. I got the catch of the day and some things I've never tried and they were all delicious. My husband loved his ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary. Highly recommend.
