Description

Pit Zone BBQ serves soulful, made-from-scratch barbecue in a clean, family-run setting. The chicken, ribs and pulled pork are juicy and well seasoned, highlighted by bold, balanced sauces and hearty combo plates. Attentive, friendly service and old-school blues create a cozy, lively neighborhood vibe. Sides and desserts can be inconsistent—mac and cheese and cornbread drew mixed notes and the peach cobbler may be unavailable—but the meat keeps guests coming back.

First time trying, both me and my guy! And we loved it! Great atmosphere, that Chicken baby was fresh off the grill juicy and tender well seasoned! The waitress was very attentive and welcoming! I enjoy supporting black owned businesses

The food was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the BBQ dinner, which was made from scratch. The staff were incredibly friendly as well! There was a positive vibe throughout this top-notch restaurant, especially with the old-school blues playing in the background.

The place was clean and the people are very friendly! I got half the ribs and half the chicken with the cabbage, they were made of scratched green: maize bread and Mac and cheese. I have to say the chicken was AMAZING! I thought the ribs would shine, but the chicken was delicious. The ribs were really good and the sauce had a proper bite. I only have the 4 stars because the Mac and cheese sauce broke and was ok, but and corn m bread was ok. But again this place is for meat and the meat seemed so bravo! I'll be back.... they also have BBQ Nachos that I have to try.

I visited this restaurant to get some training tips, and while I waited, I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful family that owns Pit Zone. I wholeheartedly recommend eating here! It's a charming family-run business with delicious food. I'm quite particular about my tips, and I can confidently say I will be returning for more. They make their own sauce from scratch, and the tips were mostly meat with minimal cartilage and no bones at all. Unlike other places that often have plenty of bones, that's not the case here! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also really cool. Let's support this family business; they definitely deserve it!
