As a local we often pop into Nero when down the town. In my opinion they serve the best coffee and the staff are always friendly and efficient. I drink decaf and unlike many other such establishment Nero decaf has plenty of flavour. The But is about the seating which I’m afraid is pretty disgusting. I stopped here with a friend for a catch up. I ordered the seasonal salted caramel latte with oatmilk instead and the salted caramel cake. My coffee was not good at all. I don’t know if the dwarves forgot to shake the carton of oatmilk but it as thin and dark. Not oaty at all. My cake was very cold and dry. Disappointing considering the cost. Two staff members were very unfriendly. It was not a pleasant experience. They did not make us feel welcome and we felt like we were inconveniencing them. I would not return if I saw them working again.
Located in the heart of Newmarket, this restaurant serves excellent coffee. Surprisingly, the restroom facilities here are kept clean, unlike many other similar establishments.
I didnt think I'd find the perfect soy flat white in Newmarket, England. We've been travelling in Scandanavia for 4 weeks and I'd forgotten what a good flat white taste like! Great taste, coffee strength, milk texture and temperature just like a great flat white at home in NZ. They also have oat milk and good selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. We had a chocolate croissant raisin pinwheel which were good too.
It's great. Bring all the kids, toys and ballons etc and have a party. Sit down at the big table and have a lovely chat while the kids can play party games in a safe and secure environment. Don't worry about the other customers, they will soon tire of the disruption and you'll have the place to yourselves. Helpfull staff to ensure the kids play safe, good toilets and as far as I know no charge for the use of the venue!
Whenever I'm in town, I always make sure to visit Nero Coffee. It's the best coffee for me, with a great selection and a nice atmosphere. The cakes are delicious, especially the red velvet - I just love Nero!
