Was User at Root Bone a mag?
I absolutely love this restaurant, and the food is amazing. However, I was a bit disappointed with the atmosphere during my last visit. The restaurant felt cold, and the manager sat right next to us behind the plexiglass, eating a burger and texting, which took away from the overall experience. Our waitress was very sweet, but something felt a little off this time. The food was great, as always. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Root Bone:
Given this feeling of haste, I’m not inclined to return for dinner as there are plenty of other restaurants that don't impose such time restrictions upon arrival. Additionally, I noticed that it felt a bit smoky at times, and despite the partitions in the space, it felt quite close to the other diners. Terrific meal. terrific restaurant. Only negative note and it is small I had a brief moment or two with the chef/owner seemingly unable to keep his mask from falling down below his nose or mouth, but the rest of the team was spot on he would correct the issue fairly often. My comfort level is that everyone in the service space be masked at all times, and so to see this issue with the owner and no one else was concerning, but also may have just been that moment.

For appetizers, we had the pork belly and scallops, which were delicious. For our main courses, three of us opted for the special Mediterranean sea bass, and it was superb. We finished our meal with cheesecake and apple cobbler for dessert, both of which were delightful. Everything about the meal was perfect, from presentation to the balance of flavors, freshness, and temperature. We also enjoyed a great view of the kitchen in action, with Chef Ray orchestrating it all. Thank you for a memorable evening!

One of the BEST restaurants in Ontario! The food is simply amazing and exceptional! Every meal, along with the cocktails my partner and I tried, left us in awe. We've never tasted venison or pickerel quite like this before! Additionally, the staff was welcoming and friendly, with Katie, the manager, being especially attentive. We will definitely make the trip back to this restaurant regularly!

The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! We hosted a surprise birthday dinner for our girlfriend and celebrated the end of summer on their beautiful patio. Everything we ordered was delicious—we decided to share a variety of appetizers. I would definitely rank this as one of the top three restaurants in Niagara that you must visit. The waitstaff made our evening truly memorable.
