I love the venue; it has a charmi... read more I've been to this restaurant twice since my parents recently moved to Folkestone, and they've both really enjoyed their meals. I love the venue; it has a charmingly English vibe, and I appreciate that they offer a catch of the day and specials. On our last visit, which was on Christmas Eve, we were not disappointed. Our waitress provided excellent service. I ordered the special, which was lamb paired with Merlot, and I absolutely loved the dish. I can't wait for my next visit!

They tried the falafel and halloumi burger, which had a fantastic portion size, and the beer was outstanding. The staff were friendly and made them feel very welcome. They enjoyed chatting with everyone there and hope to see more places like this instead of the usual bistros. Please keep creating more spots like this!

Freshly prepared means that as I have food allergies they can advise you of what is actually in their food. We will definitely be back!

I admit I was a bit unsure about what to expect. To my surprise, the atmosphere was delightful, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely incredible, with a noticeable quality in the ingredients. The service was quick and friendly, and my partner felt completely at ease ordering a second helping of dessert without any judgment. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit!
