Lovely staff ambiance too!

I had the crispy thyme dumplings with a kale salad and potatoes topped with beetroot mayo, all very tasty. The pakora is also excellent served with a very smooth, creamy houmous. Their bigger dishes include a house made seitan steak, they seem to change how it's served every now and then but I had it with potatoes, pumpkin puree and gravy delicious and it's great to have seitan in a restaurant. Their sweet options are also good, with a decent range of cakes (including gluten free) and a really good hot chocolate. Updated from previous review on 2023 04 03

This little gem was opened recently by Mark (chef) and partner Charly (front of house), who are both highly experienced in the art of food prep and presentation. I think this is their first restaurant, which they have designed and fitted out themselves with the help of family and friends. Their professionalism is married beautifully with their own personalities to make a cosy, fun, high quality eatery at reasonable prices. Perfect for meat and plant based eaters alike for a memorable meal out with friends and family. Recommend calling ahead to book as they are consistently full!

I've had dinner there a few times while visiting Folkestone, and I've truly enjoyed both meals. It can get quite busy, so it's advisable to make a reservation or dine early. I appreciate the relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and the service is excellent.
