As a large group... read more A really good addition to Folkestone's restaurant scene, Cocomee has many choices for vegans and has put a lot of thoughts into her vegan menu. As a large group of most vegans and vegetarians we could all get a main dish and share some pages. I had the Gado Gado bowl that was delicious, and the sides of pak choi, edamame, tempura vegetables and ginger sesame Slav were all really delicious supplements. The Dimm-Summestarter had a nice smoked garlic taste while the Gado Gado was fresh and filled with a sweet, nutty peanut sauce. The interior is really smart and relaxed, it is a great place for a solemn meal with friends or family, or for a romantic meal. It's just a few minutes away from the Leas Cliff Hall, so it's also perfect for an appetizer. Service was good and friendly, in fact they gave us a free round of drinks to apologize for a delay with our food (which we had not even noticed how we talked so much so that I can't blame them at all. Edit: 21/05/2022 Since my first visit several times have returned. Once for a lunchtime meal, where I tried the Katsu Bento box, and an evening meal where I had Katsu Curry, which was delicious and less oily than the Wagamama version. I also had a Shishatake Bao bunge that was delicious (I am not usually a big mushroom fan, but I will make an exception! and the small noodles that were really simple but so beautiful.
