I used to go to this place all the time I went yesterday got Ruben sandwiches. She quoted my bill as I was leaving to $29.68. Suddenly I get $35.68 on my debit card. The receipt does not even show this. I called she says because I used debit card. I told her they should be telling customers that when they say they're paying with a debit card that's instant money anyway same as cash I've always been told I think every time I go, someone different makes the Ruben sandwiches. This one was very, very dry and we didn't even get our big pickle with it. The orange rings were slightly overdone I was very unsatisfied.
The food was amazing and their sweet thang beignet was the best dessert I’ve ever had from a restaurant!! I definitely recommend this place! The service was the great too, Tasha was our server and she went above and beyond to make our experience great!
We had dinner here and was really tasty. I had 1/2 shrimp 1/2 fish grilled. The sides were Cole slaw, fried okra, fries and hush puppies. So much food, I could not eat the fries. All was really good. My husband enjoyed his huge burger too. The swamp soup was good also. (They let you have a small sample to taste, the greens with the beans and sausage is something I have got to make. My husband really like the taste.
We love the catfish and white fish dinner grilled.
Local favorite. I recommend most anything on the menu. Swamp soup is a huge hit. Burgers are great. Fish plates have healthy portions. Fried green tomatoes! Shrimp basket is made to perfection.
