Rick offers an authentic taste of Northeastern Chinese cuisine, delighting diners with nostalgic flavors and generous portions. Signature dishes, such as glass noodles, tofu strips with hot peppers, and fried pork, exemplify the rich textures and balanced tastes of the region. The restaurant boasts quick service and a comfortable ambiance, ideal for enjoying delicious meals. While some felt the service could improve, most agree that the food's quality easily compensates. This gem in NYC is praised for its affordable prices and a varied, enticing menu that captures the essence of traditional Northeastern Chinese cooking.

The string beans were tough and rubbery. When we asked the male server about it, he simply responded that it is what it is and there was nothing they could do.

Great please to eat. The country style pork was delicious.

This place is really a 3.5 stars. I did not like the pig knuckles, noodles and the dumplings were just ok. The beans were excellent along with the lamb, chicken and frog meat. The place was a little pricey.

Rick solid Northeastern Chinese food! I grew up in that region of China and this place is the best rendition of my childhood food that I’ve been able to find in NYC. We ordered the glass noodles with tahini, tofu strips with hot peppers, the “threevegetables” dish, and fried pork strips. These are the signature Northeastern Chinese food as I remember them, and each onehit it out of the park. Delicious with just the right balance of tastes and texture. Zero complaints whatsoever. Service wasfast and courteous, an added bonus, but in all honesty I was too busy shoveling down food to care.
