Tonight 's meal was lack luster and riddled with a very rude waitress. Twice, I was delivered a piece of chicken that was ****. The first time, she tried to give me back my **** plate and was shocked when I told her that I wanted a fresh plate. I noticed Pine Tavern mentioned on Yelp as an ice cream spot, but I want to clarify that it’s not an ice cream parlor. They do have vanilla and chocolate ice cream, which you can get to go along with your cobbler if you're having a family meal. So come ready to enjoy some delicious home-cooked food rather than expecting an ice cream shop!
This place and its owners are truly fantastic. The food is homemade and served family-style if you prefer. After a long day of driving, we stopped for a meal, and the owners were kind enough to let us park our RV.
An excellent home cooked meal- the biscuits are superb and the fried chicken was excellent. Everything seems to be made from scratch. Service was checking try good. Highly recommended!

If they like homeplace, they will love this place. it is a good south cooked meal. the peach bull was the bomb and even had some rest to go home. I'd like to go back.
I visited this restaurant twice. The positives: it has a beautiful atmosphere, and the fried chicken and pulled pork are delicious. On the downside, the ham and bratwurst were a bit too salty, and the sides arrived cold, especially the roasted vegetables and broccoli casserole. Overall, the family-style dining experience is definitely worth trying.
We had a fantastic homestyle dinner recently with our family, a group of about 14. The waitress did an excellent job. I highly recommend this place!
Absolutely delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly, and our server was fantastic! The food arrived super quickly and was amazing! This was our first visit, but definitely not our last!
