Dunkin' - Florence
Dunkin'
Description
Dining at Dunkin’ presents a blend of delightful and frustrating experiences. The maple bacon breakfast croissant is a popular choice, offering a satisfying blend of flavors when fresh; however, inconsistencies in temperature and quality can mar the overall experience. For those seeking a sweet treat, the recently renovated ice cream section serves generous scoops and intriguing seasonal flavors. While many customers appreciate the fresh, made-to-order offerings, the service can vary—ranging from friendly to indifferent, with occasional staff rudeness. Despite some hiccups, Dunkin’ remains a go-to spot for coffee and donuts, though patience may be required.

If I could, I would give this Dunkin' location a zero. Although some of the evening staff are friendly, the morning and afternoon teams are terrible. They refuse to replace or fix drinks you don’t like. There is one woman who is consistently rude, unpleasant, bossy, and mean. Several people I know avoid this place due to the poor customer service and unfriendly behavior. I personally stop coming here when she’s working because of her attitude toward customers. I plan to contact corporate about the terrible experience and lack of respect I received.
Dunkin' has ongoing problems with accepting debit cards. On two occasions, I was charged a cent for my order but told that my card was declined. This is a simple issue to resolve, yet it remains unaddressed. As a result, we no longer shop there.
The coffee and donuts here are amazing! I had a much better experience compared to another location I visited over the weekend, where my latte order was wrong. Although the staff was polite, they also forgot to give me my donut, and I had to remind them after receiving my drink. I've never had such an issue at this location, which is why it's become my favorite!
I typically order the maple bacon breakfast croissant, which comes with egg and white cheddar cheese. When it's fresh, it's absolutely delicious. However, I frequently find myself getting a cold sandwich instead of a hot one. Occasionally, the egg is freshly cooked, but the bacon is only fresh about half the time. You can also order the maple bacon separately. I once got undercooked bacon on my sandwich. I usually have this sandwich 1 to 3 times a week. Additionally, I recommend the stuffed cream cheese bagels, although they are a bit on the expensive side.
I recently visited this restaurant and ordered a large milkshake. The young woman who served me was very friendly, which I appreciated. However, I was taken aback by the nearly $9.00 price tag, as I expected it to be outstanding given the cost. I’m a big fan of milkshakes, so I was eagerly anticipating this one. When it finally arrived, it was so thick that I couldn’t get any through the straw, no matter how hard I tried. After several failed attempts, I decided to time how long I was waiting. It turned out to be 27 minutes before I finally got to taste my $9.00 shake. By that time, my enthusiasm had faded, and unfortunately, I ended up tossing out about $4.75 worth of shake.
