Ihop - Florence
Ihop
Description
Nestled within the bustling dining scene, this restaurant has elicited mixed reviews from guests, showcasing both commendable service and significant inconsistencies in food quality. While some patrons praised the friendly and efficient staff, quick service, and satisfying dishes like buttermilk chicken and the Jalapeño Kick burger, others faced disappointments, citing cold food, incorrect orders, and long waits despite an almost empty dining area. The establishment’s breakfast offerings received some nostalgic nods, but issues with menu pricing and execution tainted the overall experience. Ultimately, diners are left hoping for improvement as they weigh their future visits.

Food was good. As usual. Service was excellent. Still a good meal anytime night or day.
When the cook and staff talk too much, it slows the service. Not everybody has the schedule they apparently have.
I have had some bad experiences here, but today was one of the worst. We walked in shortly after 3PM to order off the iHoppy hour menu. We were sat in the same booth as our last visit and waited on by the same person, Carly. Last time we came, I other first pointing to the iHoppy card menu on the table and saying I wanted the two egg breakfast and we ordered a few other things off the menu card as well. Our mozzarella sticks arrived burnt, so we sent them back asking for new ones. We had to ask for silverware after our food arrived too. When she gave us our checks, she had only given each check 1 item at the iHoppy hour price even though both checks had multiple items from that menu on them. When we alerted the server so she could fix it, she informed us that we had to point out every item on the menu we were ordering to get the price but she would fix it for us only once. This time we made sure to let her know each item we were ordering off the menu. Everything was going fine until we got the check where she again tried to charge us regular price for the mozzarella sticks. They are $8.99 regular and $4 off the iHoppy menu. We informed her it was wrong and she said she would fix it for us without being rude this time. She brought back the check charging $8 for them this time. We pointed them out on the sign listed as $4 and she informed us that the price was changed 3 days ago. If this is the case then why do all the table cards still say $4?!? This girl needs to learn how to do her job right. For reference, the time between visits was two weeks.
I loved that place, even though we arrived from our trip at 1 in the morning, they treated us very well and the food was delicious. Parking: There is space and it is free Kid-friendliness: The tables are spacious and suitable for children. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide and there are adequate spaces
