The dish I ordered was a bit too sweet for my taste. Make sure to arrive before 2:30, as they start to close down, even though their official closing time is at 3. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maison Saint-honoré:
The crêpes were quite thick and chewy, and there was a mix-up with my order due to miscommunication. If you're looking for an authentic crêpe, this isn't the right spot. I won’t be returning anytime soon. However, the coffee and macarons were good! Service: Dine-in. Meal Type: Breakfast. Price per person: $20–40. View all feedback.
Food and location deserve 5 stars, service 1 star sorry! Everytime we come here something goes wrong (clearing plates before being done, staff chatting around instead of serving, no smile or customer service). We know there is a shortage of staff but still it’s quite disappointing for such a lovely place.
To start with the ordering experience was fine. We found our seats and expected about a 10 minute wait as is the usual in cafes like this. It ended up being 45 minutes in total. Around the 30 minute mark I asked where the food was and they said it would be another 5 minutes. No apology. Nothing. Classic French enthusiasm when dealing with customers. When the food finally came out which in fact was not a difficult order. A couple baguettes with crepes which is basically just a fancy pancake. They dropped it in front of us with no enjoy ur meal or anything. The baguettes weren’t warm and the fillings were cold as. Crepes were dry and there was no sugar or lemon to add on with it either which is appalling. The table next to us got their food within 10 mins of ordering which is ridiculous as they came way after us. Thanks la petit for making an enjoyable Sunday breakfast a cold experience :
Everything about this place was exceptional. It definitely worth it visiting in the neighbourhood.
