Beautifully presented plates - loved the field mushroom. Friendly proprietor who is obviously passionate about good food and wine.

Prego seems to have a rather low profile as we have failed to register that this gem of an Italian restaurant has been here for 7 years.Prego has to be in the top ten fine dining restaurants in Perth and for value for money it has no equal.The genuine friendly welcome on arrival and the enthusiasm of all the well trained service staff is noticeable. Well done to manager Chris for running the place so well.We opted for the degustation menu as this was a first visit and every single component was "squisito" (delicious). Even the dessert selection was spot on with an excellent panacotta.We brought our own BYO wine but would have been better off opting for the wine selections (by the glass) offered with the degustation menu . The wine list is extensive and contains some gems if you have deep pockets.

The authenticity and flavour of the food was lucid in every bit but customer service I must admit was nothing but the finest in Perth. Highly recommend the set menu, well worth your buck!

Lamb shoulder to die for- plus doubled cooked duck!! Very impressive wine list to boot. I'll be back again again!! Service unbelievable plus the chef coining out and chatting with us- A very warm and fulfilling eating experience.
