Have a pretty tough review of this restaurant in the past... My wife convinced me to go back this year, and to be honest, I 'm glad she did. Cleaner and much fresher interior than previous visit, we both enjoyed our meals and there were no issues at all with the staff. Portions decently sized, and well presented: I had Kung pao chicken which (whilst not as spicy as purported by the waitress) had nice flavour and I enjoyed very much. My wife had curry and it was more like a stew, but this was not the fault of the chef...she asked for it extra mild . The plastic covers on the tables could still be improved, but, that said...I would return and can now say that for the prices charged, it represents good value for money.

Had lovely meals here when we found it (its easy to miss, with no signs in the outside or advertising board) It's a family run restaurant and they are very friendly. Ended up returning most lunchtimes if we were in town. Food is well cooked and you get a lot, and it's very cheap compared to other Chinese in the town. My only gripe is the inside is dark and the lighting doesn't seem to make much of a difference but maybe someone will think that's romantic?

If you are in the need of a fix of Sweet and Sour or Wok Chow Mein this is your place as it’s an old school restaurant offering Peking , Cantonese and dishes you know We had Soup to Start and Spare Ribs to follow with Spring Rolls all were edible but lacked taste as in seasoning but on asking for Soy Sauce Chilli Oil we moved up a gear and tried the Peking Duck which was the average best dish , Crispy moist with Pancakes and Hoi Sin sauce was watered down but it did the job Staff were following Covid Guidelines and with a Dessert , Wine and Beers the bill came to 51.00 Euros Great Value
